Soman was awesome….

I was the only one in the group of us that was familiar with Imperative Reaction’s material, and I wasn’t really to sure what to expect…. They were really fucking good… that said, I must go on to say that Imperative Reaction are consummate professionals, during the first song they lost their brain for their electronic drum set, but kept on going, I believe it was just before the last couple of songs that the drummer and sound tech came back on stage, and the brain back in and then there were drums again…. Imperative Reaction played an great set and I believe earned the entire crowds respect for carrying on though they were marred by the lost of their drummer for 90% of their set…

Then it was time for VNV. scionofdiscord and I have seen VNV twice before, the first time was at Dark Rave v9 in Toronto, and we also them caught the DJ / DVD Release tour at the Funhouse date in Toronto…

VNV Nation live. Not since Depeche Mode have I experienced the level of pure please a band get and reciprocates with an audience… I remember the first time I saw VNV and I though, it was the most energetic show I’d been to since I’d seen Depeche Mode on Devotional Tour… well this was that ten fold……. Its not difficult to except why Ronan was a Depeche Mode fan in is youth….

After the show we quickly went back to the hotel to cool down and freshen up, if we could given the heat, then out to a local club in town, Saphir(was an awesme club), We had heard that Ronan and Mark were going to be there. Scionofdiscord met both of them. scionofdiscord had this to say about the lads, “True to what I have heard, they were very humble and genuine.”

Okay… that’s all I have in me right now…
